A summary of how action went in the weekend, in the English Premier League.

1. The big men powers Forest to the points
Taiwo Awoniyi and Chris Woods scored in either half, between a Gustavo Hamer’s equalizer for Sheffield United as Nottingham Forest sealed their first win of the campaign.
Back-to-back defeat for newly promoted Sheffield as Serge Aurier starred with a brace of assist.
2. Wissa and Mbeumo delivered for Brentford, again.
Both players scored in the opening weekend draw with Spurs and were back at it again during the trip to Fulham, which they won 3-0.
Yoane Wissa opened the scoring and Bryan Mbeumo added two more after the break to seal a convincing win.
3. Mohamed Salah broke second week jinx
Mohamed Salah scored in a Premier League Gameweek two fixture for the first time, firing home a penalty rebound to complete a turnaround for Liverpool, after Luis Diaz had made it 1-1 to canceled out Antoine Semenyo opener.
Diogo Jota added one more after the break to seal a 3-1 win for the host.
4. Brighton hit four in the Molineux

5. Spurs humbled Man United in London 
Pape Matar Sarr and a Lisandro Martinez own goal sealed a first home win for Tottenham over Man United since moving to their new home ground in London.
A wasteful United was punished by the host after the break, leaving the Red Devils with so much doubts about themselves earlier in the season.
6. Newcastle United took the customary LOSS at Manchester City
Newcastle United’s winless drought at the Ethiad continued during the weekend as Julian Alvarez scored the only goal from a Phil Foden assist to break the Eddie Howe’s side.
Manchester City moved level on points with Brighton and are now second on the log.
7. Aston Villa as expcted, walloped Everton
Aston Villa responded to their opening weekend humiliation in the hands of Newcastle United by thrashing Everton in the Villa Park.
Goals from John McGinn, Douglas Luiz, Leon Bailey and Jhon Duran delivered a massive result for Unai Emery’s men, who have now overcame their massive negative goal difference.
8. Chelsea and Moises Caicedo humbled in London
A debut to forget for the Ecuadorian, who was to be blamed for West Ham’s final goal in a 3-1 defeat as Nayef Aguerd, Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta all scored for the host.
James Ward-Prowse also registered a brace of assist on debut while Carney Chukwuemeka scored his first professional goal to level for Chelsea before disaster struck.
Arsenal travel to Crystal Palace later on Monday while thr clash between Luton Town and Burnley has been postponed due to the construction work ongoing in Kenilworth Road.
