Speculations linking Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae with a move to Manchester United will not go away and as the season approaches its end, it has become more intensified.
The South Korean, who only joined Napoli last summer in a deal around €18.05 million from Turkish club, Fenerbache signed a contract until the summer of 2025, with option of two more years if both parties agree to continue.
In his first season, the 26year old has become one of Napoli’s most important players, helping them to a first Scudetto in more than 30 years while also reaching the UEFA Champions League quarter finals for the first time ever.
Manchester United are reportedly ready to splash around £60 million to lure the player to Old Trafford as Erik Ten Hag has identified him as a player he’ll love to have in his team.
The defender, when asked about his future amindst Manchester United links said; “My agent is outside, ask him directly.”
With Harry Maguire expected to leave this summer, the club wants to replace the number with more quality players to have a better chance of competing in the company of the elites, even when having some players unavailable.
It’ll be an interesting case in this summer if Napoli will be opened to selling one of their most important players.
