Thomas Partey as well as Bernd Leno and Folarin Balogun have been left out of the Arsenal squad traveling to the United States for the continuity of the preseason.
So far, Mikel Arteta’s side have played and won against Ipswich and Nuremberg, both in the UK and Germany respectively before taking their leave for the US on Monday.
The reason for Thomas Partey’s absence has not been disclosed as the player, who took part in the 5-1 win over Ipswich Town did not travel with the rest of the squad to Germany.
Bernd Leno is closing in on a permanent switch to Fulham in an £11 million deal and is unable to join the train to the US in order to finalize the details of the move.
Young striker, Folarin Balogun could also be loaned out this summer in a bid for more first team experience and that has been the reported reason the Hale Ender has been left in London.
Arsenal have also been joined by returning international players, whose holidays were extended and the team will play Everton, Orlando and Chelsea before returning to London to face Sevilla in the Emirates Cup.
