Having been told there is no guarantee of game time for him at the club at the start of the season by manager Thomas Tuchel, the young English Midfielder bravely made his way out of the Chelsea football club again on loan and joined Crystal Palace.

The 21 year old, who has been a Chelsea fan since his childhood and has been on the books at the club since he was eight had impressive stints with Charlton, Swansea and in the last season with West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League. He even featured for Chelsea in a preseason game before joining The Eagles in the summer.
Like a match made in heaven, he slotted seamlessly into the team and plan of manager Patrick Vieira. His performances have been eye-catching that a lot of Chelsea fans have been drawn to his brilliance and many will be hoping he gets the chance to represent the club in the future.
After nine league games so far, which he has been deployed in a Midfield three in a 4-3-3 formation and as an attacking Midfielder in a 4-2-3-1, the Gallagher has produced staggering numbers for a Crystal Palace side, creating 15 goal scoring chances, scoring three goals and registering two assists, while also contributing handsomely to team plays.

Can play as a box to box Midfielder due to his ethic work-rate. The Chelsea Academy graduate looks the perfect all-round Midfielder, one with a future bright enough to give the current Chelsea stars a run for their money. He is exactly a version of Frank Lampard.
Palace manager Patrick Vieira has been tactical enough to recognize these plentiful potentials in Gallagher and thus been able to turn things around and produce good results at the club in such a short period.
The player himself will be hopeful of continuing his impressive form and help Palace do well in the current season while keeping his faith that his showings are enough to convince the current Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel that he is good enough to get a chance and compete for places in the team.
While Chelsea currently remans one of the best teams in Europe, Gallagher will relish the opportunity of playing in the midst of talented players, ones he has been surrounded with over the years but has not been afforded the chance of play with them in an official game.
It will be up to Thomas Tuchel to decide whether the player fit into his plans but many will see it as a huge waste if in the end, Gallagher is not a first team regular for Chelsea. It could well be a repeat of what happened to the likes of Mohamed Salah and Kevin de Bruyne at the club.
