AC Milan and Atletico Madrid clash in a mouthwatering contest while Liverpool travel to Portugal in the ‘group of death’ of the UEFA Champions league this season.

Arguably the toughest group in this year’s UEFA Champions league, Atletico Madrid find themselves with a point after the opening game, which was played in their Wanda Metropolitano Stadium against Porto.

They will think themselves even lucky to come away with the point as it was all Porto and the Portuguese side even scored a goal that was eventually ruled out for a foul, and were more threatening than their host on the night.

They travel this time to Milan to face one of the most successful clubs in the history of the competition, who is only playing in it for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

The Rossoneri fell 3-2 away to Liverpool in their first game but look so much threatening, and at home on Tuesday they will be looking for their first points.

They have faced off with Atletico on three occasions and recorded success twice, but lost on aggregate to the Spanish champions the last time they are in the champions league, losing 4-1 in Spain after winning 1-0 in Milan.

In the other game Liverpool travel to Porto, a familiar ground where the Reds have won their last two visits by an aggregate of 9-1 in the Champion league.

Porto earned a valuable point in Spain on opening week and yet to lose a game this season across all competition, they will fancy their chance for redemption when they host the six times Champions.

Liverpool in the weekend were held to a 3-3 draw at Brentford, a disappointing result which is Jürgen Klopp side’s second point dropping game this season, and a positive reply will be much anticipated by the club’s faithful.
