Pep Guardiola has pointed to several factors behind this dip in form, including injuries to key players such as Rodri, Ruben Dias, John Stones, and Ederson.
Additionally, striker Erling Haaland, who has been the team’s main scorer, has seen a drop in form, scoring just three goals in his last 12 league appearances.
Despite these setbacks, Guardiola is not backing down. He has emphasized that he is not giving up and remains determined to get through this rough patch with the support of the team.
“I will not give up. I want to be here, and we must get through this together,” he said.In response to the challenges, Guardiola is also exploring tactical adjustments to get the best out of his squad, particularly Haaland. He stressed the importance of making strategic changes to ensure the team performs better. “We need to try to do things better, to use him [Haaland] better,” he explained.
Looking ahead, Guardiola sees the upcoming match against Leicester City—who are currently struggling at the bottom of the table—as a chance to get back on track.
He remains hopeful and focused on improving the team’s overall performance and achieving success for the rest of the season.
Guardiola’s unwavering dedication to Manchester City, along with his strategic approach to the current challenges, showcases his confidence in the team’s ability to overcome difficulties and get back to winning ways.
