Arsenal Striker Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang says the decision he has to make on whether signing a new contract with the club or not is the most important decision he has ever had to make in his career so far.
The Gabonnese told French football programme Telefoot: ” I haven’t had an offer recently, but I did speak to the club quite a few months ago, and the know why nothing has happened yet.”
“It’s a turning point in my career and I want to be honest with everyone.”
“They [Arsenal] have the keys. It is up to them to do their work and, after that, we will see how things go. It’ll certainly be a very difficult decision to make.” He added.
Reports suggest Barcelona and Inter Milan are interested in the former Borussia Dortmund man who has scored 61 times in 97 outings for the London club since 2018.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta stated in March that he wants to keep the player “under any circumstances” and the club must come to an agreement on order to keep him at the club.
Arsenal return to Premier League action this Wednesday when they travel to Manchester to play Pep Guardiola’s City.
