Barcelona and Real Madrid square up for the first El Classico of the season

The famous El-Clasico takes centre stage again this weekend and for the first time this season and both team comes into the game lacking confidence especially the boys from the Spanish Capital.

For Barcelona, the motivation will be playing in their courtyard even though there will not be fans available but the club has turn the Camp Nou to a fortress in recent years.

Real Madrid is currently on a run of two consecutive home defeats to Cadiz and Shaktar in the UEFA Champions League and there has been rumours flying around Zidane’s job is on the line due to recent performances and could get worse if his side lose the El-Clasico later today.

Injuries and Suspension.

Barcelona go into the game, having to worry about Jordi Alba who recieves the medical green light late into the week and first choice goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter-Stegen who is still recovering from his long term injury.

For Real Madrid, the main concern will be the fitness of Captain, Sergio Ramos, who has been included in the squad having miss the midweek game against Shaktar due to injury sustain against Cadiz last week.

Real Madrid will be without a natural right back as Carvajal and Odriozola are out with injury as well and Eden Hazard remains on the sideline for Los Blancos this season.
