Maybe Norwich City will get a win in the Premier league this season, but certainly not away to Chelsea and they was already obvious as early as the eighth minute, when Jorginho lays the ball for Mason Mount, who fires in for his first league goal of the season.
Ten minutes later, Callum Hudson-Odoi was on hand to double the league leaders advantage, getting on the end of a beautiful pass from Matteo Kovacic from the halfway line.
He made he way to the area before guiding the ball past Tim Krul and into the bottom corner.
Reece James made it 3-0 three minutes before the break. Mason Mount places a well weighted through ball for his fellow and the former dinked a delightful effort past the rushing Goalkeeper.
Matteo Kovacic gets his brace of assist three minutes before the hour mark, setting up Ben Chilwell. The left-back fired his shot across goal and into the back of the net to make it 4-0.
Three minutes after Chilwell made it four with his fourth goal in as many Premier League games, Max Aarons put into his own net for 5-0 Chelsea.
It got worse for the visitors two minutes later and they were down to 10men as defender, Ben Gibson was given his marching orders with his second caution of the game for a foul on Reece James.
Chelsea were awarded a penalty for a foul on Mason Mount in the 83rd minute and Mount made it 6-0 from a retaken penalty kick after his initial effort was saved by Tim Krul, who was adjudged to be off his line before the ball was kicked.
Mason Mount gets to complete his hat-trick in the first minute of extra time. Assisted by Ruben Loftus-Cheek. It ended 7-0 to Thomas Tuchel side, their biggest win yet under the German.
The win takes them to 22 points, four ahead of Liverpool who travel to Old Trafford on Sunday to face Manchester United.
