Nigeria Association of Agricultural Students – NAAS
Federal University of Agriculture, Abeouta – FUNAAB
College of Animal Science and Production – COLANIM
College of Plants Science and Crop Production – COLPLANTS
Department of Pasture and Range Management – PRM
Department of Plant Physiology and Crop Production – PPCP
Department of PRM (Pictured), win their first game of the group stages by a 2-1 score-line.
It was plain sailing for PRM in the last game of the day as they beat their opponent, PPCP by 2-1, a score-line which tells a little of their commanding display in the match.
A scrumptious free-kick from Nathaniel, three minutes into the game showed the intention of the boys from COLANIM.
PPCP pushed forward and were presented chances of their own but were not clinical enough to take the chances. Ade took a shot in the box but his effort sailed just wide of the goal.
PPCP’s wastefulness was punished late in the first half as Samuel showed composure to power his way through the defense to double his sides lead. For taking off his shirt in celebration, he was booked by the referee.
Another PPCP attack ends in offside and the referee blows the whistle to bring the first half to a halt.
The second half was much of an end to end affair but Nathaniel, who was very impressive in the game was booked for the second time, and subsequently sent off, leaving his side down to 10men.

PPCP got a consolation for their much improved second half performance in the closing stages, as Ola fired home from a loose ball in the PRM box.
It finished 2-1 to PRM, who never looked like loosing in the course of the game.
