Done deal: Aston Villa confirms the signing of French star from Marseille

Premier League club, Aston Villa has completed the signing of 22-year-old midfielder, Boubacar Kamara from Olympic Marseille on a five-year contract.

Steven Gerrard has identified the player as one of the key part of his project at the Villa Park and the club has now done justice by bringing the player to England.

Kamara was key in helping Marseille return to the Champions League next season, playing 34 league games as Jorge Sampaoli side finished behind Champions, Paris Saint-Germain in the French top flight.

He has been linked with move away from Marseille with top clubs, mostly Atletico Madrid showing interest but Steven Gerrard has successfully own his man, and Kamara will star from the Clarets Blue next season.
