Jorginho scored the only goal from 12 yards deep into added time in the first half to give Chelsea a 1-0 win away to Everton, their first at the Goodison Park since April 2017.

An early injury to Ben Godfrey saw a lot of minutes run down hence nine minutes in the least was added at the end of the first 45 minutes. And in the final minute of the added time, Abdoulaye Doucoure brought down Ben Chilwell in the box, and Jorginho converts from 12 yards, sending Jordan Pickford the wrong way.
Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella all make their official debut for Thomas Tuchel side in an evenly contested final Premier League kickoff on Saturday.
That brings an end to a run of five without a win four defeats in a row in the Blue side of Merseyside for the Blues and in the process record their 20th win at the start of a Premier League campaign, more than any other club in history.
Chelsea also faces another one of their former manager next weekend as Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur who came from a goal down to beat Southampton 4-1 on Saturday.
Everton travel to Aston Villa to face Steven Gerrard’s side who were well beaten 2-0 by newly promoted Bournemouth.
