Roma coach Jose Mourinho has developed interest in unsettled Barcelona star and a move to Serie A could be on the cards for the player, whose chances of getting into the Barcelona team has been hampered by the emergency of Pablo Gavi.

Riqui Puig, who was promoted to the first team from the Barca B three seasons ago has find playing time hard to come by under manager Ronald Koeman, as the Manager now prefers his fellow graduates to him.
Puig made only two starts in the league last season and despite a lot of rumours linking him with a move away from the club in the last two summers, after the manager admitted he is not yet ready to be a regular at the club, he was reluctant to move away.
However, the emergence of new players at the start of the ongoing season has limited his chances further, as the duo of Nico and Gavi seem to be more favoured by the manager.
Puig, 22, has made just four appearances in the league this season, all as substitutes and have amounted to just 72 minutes. Hence, he could be tempted by Mourinho’s offer in order to revive his career.
