With June 30 fast approaching, a lot of Premier League stars will be available for free as their current contracts with their respective clubs will be running out.
The likes of Antonio Rüdiger and Andreas Christensen have already signed agreements with Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively. However, there are other big names set to depart their clubs this summer.
Here are some of the lots and the names of clubs they’ll most likely be heading to once their time is up later next month.
Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba of Manchester United is strongly linked with a return to his former club, Juventus, from where he signed for Manchester United for £89 million in the summer of 2016.
A host of other clubs like United’s city rivals, Manchester City have also shown interest in the midfielder but he would not want to play for a direct rival of the team where he spent his youth career so a return to Turin could be imminent.
Jesse Lingard
Having enjoyed a successful spell with the Hammers in the second half of last season, West Ham United has always favours the prospect of having the Englishman back at the club but Manchester United refused them last summer.
However, after a disappointing season and with the mass exodus at the club, David Moyes can now have the joy of reuniting with the player that helped them seal Europa League qualification last season.
Alexander Lacazette
The Arsenal striker is another player who could be heading back to his former club of Olympic Lyon as he confessed weeks ago he has never sever his ties with the club since leaving for the Premier League in 2017.
Lacazette, 30, expressed his desire to play in the Champions League next season but Lyon have not qualify for the competition so he might as well reverse his decision and move elsewhere.
James Tarkowski
The 29 year old is set to leave relegation threatening Burnley this summer after the end of his contract and Newcastle United are in pole position to add him to the ranks.
The English defenders joined Burnley in 2016 and has a wealth of Premier League experience, having made over 190 appearances in the competition for the Clarets.
James Milner
James Milner’s Liverpool contract ends this summer but Jürgen Klopp is hopeful that the 36 year old can put pen to papers on another year agreement with the club.
It doesn’t look like the former Manchester City man will leave Anfield this summer so a contract renewal is expected to be signed and Milner to continue his adventure with The Reds.
Divock Origi
The Liverpool striker has reached an agreement with Italian club AC Milan and will move to San Siro after the Champions League final later this month.
The Belgian signed for Liverpool in 2014 but has had little involvement with the team since the Jurgen Klopp era that has seen the team rise to the very top. However, his contributions in the Champions League success in 2019 will never be forgotten.
Eddie Nketiah
With Arsenal now likely to miss out on Champions League qualification, Eddie Nketiah should be on the move out of the club this summer as the Gunners look to reinforce their attack with new strikers signings expected in the next months.
Nketiah has lately become the striker Arteta prefers after the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January and the dip in form of Alexander Lacazette but Nketiah wants to get regular first team football, which Arsenal will not give should sign a new striker, which is a top priority for the club.
Newcastle United has registered interest in the player amongst other Premier League clubs. A move abroad could also be on the cards as Bundesliga and Serie A teams also have eyes on his situation.
Edinson Cavani, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic will all be leaving Manchester United this summer but their new destinations are yet to be disclosed.
