19-year-old Fabio Carvalho has officially joined Liverpool from Fulham after the clubs had already reached an agreement for the player in the winter.

The Reds have now confirmed that the Portuguese attacking midfielder, who made 36 appearances for Fulham in the Championship last season, helping the finish as Champions with his ten goals and eight assists, will be registered as a Red on the first of July.

Liverpool will pay £5 million plus another £2.7 millions in add ons to Fulham and the player has already signed a five-year contract at Anfield.

Carvalho is a product of the Fulham academy and has represented England in the U17 and 18 before switching to Portugal to play for the U21s.
