Only accepting José Mourinho’s hypothesis will help Manchester United proffer solution to the never-ending dilemma

It’s been over three years since Jose Mourinho was shown the exit door at Manchester United for the poor performances of the team and since then, it is obvious that the club has not fared better than they did with the Portuguese.

Ever since Sir Alex Ferguson retirement, former Porto manager Mourinho has appeared the best they have appointed and after even he could not satisfy their urge for success, and same has been the fate of those that have come before and after the outspoken boss.
At first, it always appeared as though the problems has been solved once a new manager is appointed but as time passes, everything returns to the way it was that prompted the departed manager to be sacked. What is really wrong at the Theater of dreams ?
With each summer that comes, huge amount of money has been spent on quality players that ended up depreciating in value and abilities once they get to the club, while the same becomes the case for promising stars of the club, most whom have lost their mojo and thus affecting their relationship with the club fanbase.
The problem yet to be identified can not be solved as they say, Manchester United are in a dilema as none seems right of all the solutions they have proffered to solving the crisis they are in. It however seems their former Portuguese manager has already identified the problems, but many continues to turn deaf ears.
What has Jose Mourinho said ?
Five years ago whilst at the helm at Old Trafford, Jose Mourinho made mention of names of a multiple players as some of the reasons the club is not progressing but the media called for his head before the manager was eventually moved on.
Maybe because of the strong media backing of the club, Marcus Rashford for instance is a player that has progressed through the ranks at the club, one very loved by United faithfuls and when Mourinho labelled him as not good enough to be Manchester United’s main striker, the media were quick to get behind his back.
Not to shy away from the truth, is Marcus Rashford really good enough to be Manchester United’s main source for goals ?
In 198 appearances in the Premier League since making his debut in 2016, Marcus Rashford has scored 59 goals, averaging 0.30 goals per match while missing 51 big chances. Is this numbers really good enough for any ambitious team ?
Despite playing over 30 games in each of his full season in the Premier League, he has never scored 20 league goals a season and his most productive season was in the 2019-20 season when he scored 17, the most aside that tally is 11 whilst he gets the role of being United’s main threat in the final third.
Portuguese manager Mourinho also labelled Paul Pogba as a virus and not a team player. Pogba has been criticized several times for not commiting to the club and that has shown with his contract saga, now becoming a free agent in the summer.
This means the player that left Manchester United for free, brought back for £89 million will be leaving for free come the end of the season as everything as at now only shows he will not renew. Where is the love for the badge ?
Anthony Martial also gets his portion from the current Roma coach as he was branded lazy. Good luck convincing yourself that Martial is not lazy but after coming to life in the early days of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when trying to prove Jose wrong, where is he now ?
Luke Shaw doesn’t use his head was a reality comments made by Jose but for every good performance from the former Southampton left back, fans do their best to discredit the Jose comment but deep down, everyone knows these remarks are not farfetched.
Obviously United will not be thinking of getting rid of all the players but how many coaches have they hired and fired in search of solution to a problem they are turning deaf ears to, and how many more will it take them to finally realize Jose was right all along ?
