While Real Madrid have signed Aurélien Tchouameni in a big money move this summer, it still doesn’t limit the importance of Casemiro in the team, at least for the next 12 months.

While Carlo Ancelotti has tried to push the French midfielder into the starting spot to see if he can really get started on the go, so far, it is only fair to say the results has not been encouraging.
Carlo Ancelotti recently confirmed that both Tchouameni and his countryman, Edouardo Camavinga will need more time before they reach that stage of becoming regular starters in the Real Madrid team, hence, the importance of retaining Casemiro.
On Monday against newly promoted Almeria, Real Madrid looked lost in the absence of Casemiro although were able to get the desired result late on but not until after the replacement of Tchouameni and Camavinga.
The decision not to start Casemiro could be related what now looks like an imminent move to Manchester United but nonetheless, he will be a huge miss for Los Blancos and maybe a trip to Celta will show Carlo Ancelotti how important it is to keep the Brazilian for the season.
Real Madrid are unbeaten in their last 11 league meetings with Celta Vigo, winning nine including each of the last four.
Karim Benzema has scored seven times in his last three games against Celta Vigo and the striker will be looking to open his league account for new season at the Abanca-Balaidos on Saturday evening.
Real Madrid’s title defence got off to a winning start last weekend against Almeria and the opening Gameweek got even better on Monday night after Barcelona failed to win at home again Rayo Vallecano.
A win on Saturday will take them to six points before Barcelona face a tougher battle on Sunday when they travel to the Anoeta to take on Real Sociedad.
