Manchester United face Tottheham Hotspur in a must-win game as Ole Gunnar Solskjær battle to keep his job. A good number of United faithfuls have called for the manager’s dismissal after last weekend’s humiliating defeat to Liverpool at the Old Trafford.

The numbers don’t lie, Manchester United are getting worse game by game and many are still baffled as to why the Norwegian is still at the helm. The trip to North London could be the climax or a fresh start for him.
United are on a run of four league games without a win, losing three, a form that might as well rule them out as title contender in the Premier League. They have also been able to keep just a clean sheet in all competitions this term, a very dismal statistic for a defense well worth £200million.
The pressure is building on Solskjær and only a convincing display on Saturday evening could see him still keep his job, for the time being as the tough run of games continue for the club.
Tottheham themselves have not been convincing and might just hand Solskjær the lifeline needed to keep his job. They have been by far below the team they are used to be known. Despite their good start to the season, winning their first three games, that have since faded away as they have managed just two hard-fought wins in their next six league games, losing four times.
Nuno Santos side are the only team in the division yet to pick up a draw this season and on this evidence, we might as well concluded a side will walk out of the Tottheham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday with maximum points.
The good news for the visitors is that they have no loss in their last four games away to Tottheham, winning three, and Solskjær will hope they can extend that run, but with a fourth win in five, to help him ease the pressure surrounding his status.
The United manager will hope to have defender, Raphael Varane, who returned to training during the week fit for the trip. Pogba Pogba is suspended for this clash while Tottenham will also be without Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil.
Verdict: Given the history of the contest, Manchester United, despite their poor form should edge their host to the three points with a narrow win.
