Here’s a clearer version of the Champions League standings and situation after Match day seven.

Champions League Table Analysis – Gameweek 7

Liverpool and Barcelona have already clinched their spots in the Round of 16, leading the pack at the top of the table.

Just below them, Arsenal and Inter Milan (both on 16 points) need just one more point to secure direct qualification to the Round of 16. Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are also well-positioned with 15 points each, with strong chances to avoid the playoff round.

A tight mid-table battle is brewing among six teams, all on 13 points: Bayer Leverkusen, Aston Villa, Monaco, Feyenoord, Lille, and Brest.

These clubs will compete fiercely in the final gameweek for a coveted Round of 16 spot. The defending champions Real Madrid have shown resilience after a difficult start, currently sitting in 16th place with 12 points.

They’re joined on the same points tally by Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Celtic. All these teams have at least guaranteed playoff spots and will aim to maximize both points and goal difference in their final matches.

Manchester City face a precarious situation, currently in 25th place with just 8 points following a dramatic loss to PSG. Guardiola’s squad must win their final match to maintain any hope of reaching the playoff stage.
