Ons Jabeur reached the final after beating Tatjana Maria in three sets to become the first Tunisian to reach a Grand Slam final.
6-2, 3-6, 6-1 it ended in 1h 43mins and the WTA No.2 will have a chance to win her first Grand Slam title when she faces Elena Rybakina on Saturday afternoon.
NADAL WITHDRAWS
Nick Kyrgios reaches his first ever Grand Slam final following the decision of semi final opponent, Rafael Nadal due to an abdominal injury.
“As everybody saw yesterday, I have been suffering a pain in the abdominal. It doesn’t make sense to play, injury will get worse. I don’t want to take the risk to be out for two or three months.” Rafael Nadal.
Kyrgios now awaits the winner of the semi final meeting between Novak Djokovic and Cameron Norrie later today.
