NADAL POWERS INTO THE SEMIS

Rafael Nadal is into the last four in Wimbledon following a win a an epic contest against Taylor Fritz, which saw the Spaniard come from behind twice to seal a 22nd consecutive match won in Grand Slam.

In 4h 21mins, Nadal won the only three tie breakers in five sets to eliminate Taylor Fritz 3-6, 7-5, 3-6, 7-5, 7-6(4)

Game, set and match – Nick Kyrgios 🎾

Not everyone’s favourite man but Nick Kygrios is surely where everyone’s man wanna be right now in Wimbledon.

He sees off Cristian Garin, winning 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 in straight sets to make the final four of the men’s singles.

Up next for a place in the final is Rafael Nadal.

HALEP MEANS BUSINESS 

Simona Halep becomes the first player to win 12 or matches in a row in Wimbledon since Serena Williams (20 consecutive wins between 2015 and 2018) following her 6-2, 6-4 win over Amanda Anisimova to reach the last four in Wimbledon.

Halep has now reached six semi-finals in 2022, only Iga Swiatek has more so far this season (eight).

Elena Rybakina reaches her first ever Grand Slam semi final in Wimbledon as she comes from behind to defeat Alja Tomljanovic 4-6 6-2 6-3.

In a year where Russians have been banned from taking part in Wimbledon, Elena Rybakina, who represented Russia until 2018 has reaches a personal best in the competition.

She still has the chance to go all the way to the Wimbledon crown this year and next up is Simona Halep.
