CAF Awards 2024: Men’s Player of the Year: A Showcase of Talent
Five outstanding players have been shortlisted for the Men’s Player of the Year award:
- Ademola Lookman (Nigeria) has been instrumental for both his club and country.
- Achraf Hakimi (Morocco) has consistently impressed in Ligue 1.
- Serhou Guirassy (Guinea) has enjoyed a prolific season with Borussia Dortmund.
- Simon Adingra (Côte d’Ivoire) has been a standout performer in the Premier League.
- Ronwen Williams (South Africa) has been a reliable presence in goal for both his club and country.
Women’s Player of the Year
Trailblazers in African Women’s Football. Three exceptional players have been nominated for the Women’s Player of the Year award:
- Chiamaka Nnadozie (Nigeria) has had an outstanding season, earning accolades in the French league and representing Nigeria at the Paris Olympic Games.
- Barbara Banda (Zambia) has been a prolific scorer for both club and country.
- Sanaâ Mssoudy (Morocco) has been instrumental in AS FAR’s domestic and continental campaigns.
National Team of the Year: Honoring Collective Excellence
The Men’s National Team of the Year nominees include: Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, South Africa
