Ivan Perisic could be on his way to Chelsea this summer after the expiration of his current contract with Inter, whose efforts to tie down the Croat on a new term has proven futile so far.

The 33 year old’s demands are unlikely to be met by the club and Thomas Tuchel, who had confessed his admiration for the winger in January has now demanded that Chelsea explore the possibility of snapping up the player.
Italian club, Inter have so far only been willing to offer him a contract with a salary of €4.5 million for the next two years as he demands a larger wage packet of €6 million, and Chelsea would be willing to better Inter’s offer to sign the player.
Ivan Perisic has been directly involved in 13 league goals this season, his best return in a single campaign since 2017/18 and helped Inter best Juventus to win the Coppa Italia in the mid-week.
