PSG Paris Saint-Germain could be willing to part ways with Neymar Junior this summer after what is considered a season of failure in their quest to maximize the potential of Brazilian alongside the other two superstars, Messi and Mbappé to win a Champions League title.

The Brazilian has endured another season where injuries limited his impact in the team, albeit he was available for their two legged Champions League round of 16 3-2 aggregate loss to Real Madrid, he was only able to come on in the second half in Paris.
Neymar did assisted PSG’s two goals in the tie but he is seen as the expendable one amongst the trio with Kylian Mbappé commiting three more years to the club and Messi having a contract that runs until next summer.
There has been a lot of speculations about the player’s future with PSG potentially in a position to be willing to let go of the player in order to relief their huge wage bill with further incoming expected this summer.
Meanwhile should the 30-year-old be considering a future away from Paris this summer, there are not many clubs in the right status to move for him but Chelsea could capitalize on this to strengthen their attack and boost their quest to challenge for the league title next season.
Neymar has been linked to Chelsea in a move that will see him reunite with former boss PSG Thomas Tuchel and Brazilian teammate, Thiago Silva, who was also a former teammate at PSG.
The former Barcelona playmaker has quite an astonishing reputation, considered by many as the third best player of his generation behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
A move to England will be one he will relish as he approches the later stages of his career and Chelsea will also be delighted to have a superstar in the ranks.
Chelsea appeared one of the few teams financially capable of securing the services of Neymar and more, they are a team they could really benefit from his service amongst the few who could secure a move for him.
Neymar, who joined PSG in 2017 as the most expensive player in the history of the game is not expected to cost much given his age and PSG’s willingness to sell, nonetheless the wage bill and player standard means he will only move to a top team.
The club is yet to respond to the speculations and fans will be anxious to see if Neymar will be joining this summer.
