Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman has released the 25-man list of players that will be representing the five times Champions in the competition this season, for the group phase.
The Catalan will have a lot to get used to in the competition as they will be playing in it without Lionel Messi for the first time in almost two decades.
Here is a list of the players as posted on the club’s website;
Goalkeepers: Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Neto, Inaki Pena, Arnau Tenas.
Defenders: Sergino Dest, Gerard Pique, Ronald Araujo, Clement Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Oscar Mingueza, Samuel Umtiti, Eric Garcia, Alex Balde.
Midfielders: Sergio Busquets, Riqui Puig, Miralem Pjanic, Sergio Roberto, Frank De Jong, Nico Gonzalez, Gavi.
Attackers: Ousmane Dembele, Memphis Depay, Ansu Fati, Yusuf Demir, Martin Braithwaite, Phillipe Coutinho, Pedri Gonzalez, Luuk de Jong, Sergio Aguero.
Barcelona will kick off their Champions league campaign by playing host to Bayern Munich at the Camp Nou on September 14. They will also play Benfica and Dynamo Kiev in group E.
