Revealed: Nominees for the Premier league awards for the month of September

After three league games in the month of September, the Premier league have revealed the lists of nominees for the Player Manager and goal of the month awards.

Manager of The Month
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta gets rewarded for orchestrating his side’s revival whence they won all three league games in the month.
The Spaniard will be favourite to pick up the award as it was only Arsenal that won all league games during the month.
Pep Guardiola is another strong challenger as his side won two and draw one. Big wins against Chelsea and Leicester City will boost his chances of picking up the award.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpoool also had the same form as City during the month with wins against Crystal Palace and Leeds United and a 3-3 draw against newly promoted Brentford.
Graham Potter is another name on the list as his Brighton side extended their impressive start to the season into the month. Picking up seven points out of a possible nine, beating Leicester City and Brentford and a draw against Palace.
Dean Smith completes the nomination as his side pulled up some upset, beating United at Old Trafford and inflicting on Everton their first loss in the league this season.
Player of The Month
Cristiano Ronaldo scored three goals in three games and has been enlisted among the best performers of the month.
Mohamed Salah also feature with the same number as Ronaldo, but the Egyptian scored in all of the games while Ronaldo blanked against Aston Villa.
Watford’s Ismaila Sarr was as good as anyone in the month scoring three goals in three games.
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger was also impressive. He was a part of the Chelsea side that kept two clean sheets while also scoring a goal in the win over Tottheham Hotspur.
With two assists and a goal in the month, Alan Saint-Maximin was outstanding for Newcastle United and has been rewarded with a nomination by the Premier league.
Completing the list is Manchester City defender, Joao Cancelo who was a part of the Manchester City side that kept three clean sheets during the month. The Portuguese was also responsible for the assist that led to the only goal in the win over Chelsea.

Jesse Lingard against West Ham United
Romelu Lukaku against Aston Villa (second goal)
Andros Townsend against Burnley
Naby Keita against Crystal Palace
Matt Cash against Everton
Jesse Lingard against Newcastle United
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang against Tottheham Hotspur
The winners of the awards will be known in the early days of the month of October.
