Update: Manchester City man to remain in prison until the turn of the year

Frenchman Benjamin Mendy will remain in prison till the 24th of January, 2022 when his trial at the court will commence.

The defender has been charged with two rape counts and one sexual assault against three women with one under the age of 18.
Mendy, 27, who was part of the Manchester City team that won the league last season is yet to feature for the Pep Guardiola side this season.
He is now expected to be away until the turn of the year, when his trial will commence in court.
