Both side have started the season poorly and the clash in North London on Saturday afternoon has been tagged by many, as the relegation battle with the two rocked bottom of the standings in the English top-flight.
Arsenal suffered 2-0 losses to Brentford and Chelsea before their 5-0 hammering in the hands of Manchester City at the Ethiad, in their last game before the international break.
Despite dominating the Championship last season, Norwich found themselves in a position they would have wanted to avoid, losing all three games played to Liverpool, Manchester City and Leicester City.
The Canaries have not been favoured with the run of fixtures to start the season but might be looking to an upset against an Arsenal side who have been inconsistent in recent times.
However, what both sides will be looking forward to is avoiding the historical record for the worst start to a premier league season after four games own by Swindon Town with zeo points and -12 goal difference.
With both Arsenal and Norwich yet to record a point after three games player, while they are also tied on -9 goal difference with Arsenal yet to score while Norwich are at 10 to 1, another toothless performance by either side could see them land this unwanted record.
Norwich are without a win in their last 23 travels to London, and Arsenal are unbeaten in their last eight games against their opponent in all competitions.
On papers, it is looking rosy for Mikel Arteta and his players but their inconsistency will also be a point of optimism for Norwich, and we await a thrilling contest this Saturday, in North London.
