Manchester United Manager Ole Solskjær has released the official 25-man squad for the UEFA Champions League group stage games.

United will be playing in the competition this year with players who have won the championship on several occasions as the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane have been added this summer.
Both players have a combined nine champions league title between them. Both were part of the Real Madrid side that won the title four times last decade, with Ronaldo having one more, which he had won with Manchester United in 2008.
Delightfully, Solskjær will be hoping the experience of these duo count for his side when they get their European campaign underway later this month.

Here is Manchester United’s confirmed Champions League squad, as it has been confirmed on UEFA’s website:

● Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Dean Henderson, Tom Heaton
● Defenders: Victor Lindelöf, Harry Maguire, Eric Bertrand Bailly, Raphaël Varane, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Alex Telles
● Midfielders: Nemanja Matić, Scott McTominay, Fred, Donny van de Beek, Paul Labile Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Jadon Sancho, Amad Diallo
● Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Mason Greenwood [B list]
As UEFA rules state that any player under the age of 21 that qualifies as “homegrown” doesn’t need to be registered as part of the maximum 25-man squad for the tournament and can instead be included on the B list, that is the case for Mason Greenwood on this list.
The Old Trafford club are in group F and they will be playing against the likes of Villarreal, Young Boys and Atalanta. They kickstart the campaign with an away trip to Swiss to face Young Boys on the 14th of September.
